How do you like the marzocchi 4x? I might get one when i get a hardtail... any thoughts?
i'm enjoying it. i've gotten a lot of questions on it actually. marzocchi actually rates it for dirt jumping so i gave it a try and its been working out really well. no problems at all. its actually lighter then the DJ2 fork that you normally see on dj bikes. its an awesome fork for its price range. i'd def recommend it. it will raise up your bars a little more than a DJ2 but its not that big a deal. takes a little getting used to. if you don't like it that way you can cut it down to make it around 70mm...but thats just a personal thing. hope this answered your question.

if there aren't any maintenence and/or durability issues with it, i'm jumping on one - those things are freakin' light - a flat 4 pounds, last time i checked.

yeah the weight is barely a factor. i've had no durability issues at all and it's been a pretty decent 3 months of riding for me. as with any fork like it just make sure you air it up enough for your weight since its gonna take a beating. like i said the 4X is an awesome fork for its price and def worth jumping.
