better parts because my friend has the shred the brakes aren't that good and no rebound adjustment on the fork

omg i run on hayes mx4 mech brakes if you just serve them often and adjust the wire and tighten from the behind then its just as good as any hydral brake for street dirt ridingCool

Getting a shred over a p1 is just stupidity. The p1 has better components, like a dirtjumper 3 fork instead of a dirt jam comp or whatever crap they have. THe shred has crappy components and the gears are crap

well what are u using it for? cuz i would say one of the "P" series if u ride street and dirt jumps. but if just dirt jumps then kona.

i would say, buy a kona shred frame, or a p1 frame, and build it up. but if your gonna buy it full, i would go with the p1. because p1 stock parts are not that bad, plus its single speed. the kona shred stock parts are shit. and a junk deraileur, that your prolly gonna make a ss anyways.

I would go with the specialized, my buddy has a 07p.2 and hes never had any major/serious problems with it
