thoughts? trials riding, little bit of street type stuff I looked a lot for a ellsworth specialist frame, but its a little bit to much money, what do you guys think?

Well, you put trials riding before street. So I would sooner suggest a short trials frame set up for both.

See, the problem is riding something like a p2 or a dmr for trials is great to a point. You can show off your pedal kicks, pedal ups and crap. But it hinders your progression VASTLY!... Its like trying to cut a tree down with a hockey stick. Once you upgrade from a street bike you've beaten your self to death on, to a trials bike...suddenly your a god at riding it feels. Then you wonder...damn, I should have just done this in the first place.

A frame like an echo control or a simtra would be a good choice. Maybe more so the pure because there is a short version. You can transfer street moves onto a trials bike very easily. But vice versa on a street bike. You'll feel like a gimp riding.

So, thats my .02. Other parts are up to you, but for the most part. I would get an actual trials frame since in your post trials came as priority. Probably cheaper than the frame you mentioned too.

i checked out reset, 24" i rode for a long time and i really don't like it, just to small but thanks man those bikes are ill for sure.

The Code is cool, but not a dedicated trials frame.

i guess not well Im really picky, I guess i really don't like a 100 percent dedicated trials set up, I thought of a jackflash, and a few others and I can pick up an ellsworth specialist for 650, but its disc only which might be bad but i hear that they are good frames?

If its between the Specialist and the Code (and you have access to a Code), buy the code. I've had several problems with Ellsworth and I know several people that have as well. If you are not too tall, the Dobermann has a +10mm bottom bracket. A curtis T1 would be really nice too if you must stick with a bike that has a seat.

i agree with jason im 100% street/trials and for my next frame im using the echo lite short. Its 1000 wheelbase so u can spin like mad and get tons of pop so its easy for manuels and bunnyhops and stuff

no u cant lol ull loose speed really fast unless u have a hill. But i mean anything over 15 seconds is already boring and u realize the guy can obviously balance it lol
