Ok so is it possible to install a brake, like a U-brake, on a stock brakeless bike? Like Im thinking of getting the Fit Str 2 and it doesnt have any brake mounts or guides. And Im not ready to commit to death yet. So is it possible to get brakes on it?

I was looking at a sick frame that only came brakeless, so actually its quite a good idea if you can do anything.

BMX frames are pretty cookie cutter. Very similar geometry, similar weights, etc. The biggest difference would actually be wether the frame has brakes or not, so you might as well skip the frame that is brakeless and get one with mounts. Or better yet (if you plan to remove brakes in the future) get a frame with removable mounts.

That can be expensive, in that you will have to buy new shoes every month.
