As you may have heard, the Fundy Skateboard Association has eliminated bikers from the shiny new Saint John Skate Park. We hope there will be no conflict between bikers to skaters about mis-communication. The proposal is Saint John getting a BMX park to house as many types or riding as we can fit into Shamrock park. It is to my knowledge that this will be in process if not finished sometime next year. It is also to my knowledge that we will NOT have to fund raise for this park as we already fund risen for the Skate park in which we are now banned from. For more information please check this out.

To vote on what type of park we want, VOTE HERE.

Thank you,

interesting.

Responding to my email the President of the Fundy Skateboard Association the new Skate Park (actually a Plaza) will not allow any bicycles at all, citing safety and risk of damage. My concern was not to defend bikers as much as informing the public at large where this is a public facility and will be visited by people from outside of the city, as well. I hope no skaters and bikers clash over this because of the lack of communication. [/Quoten]

yup its a rule but theres no legal consequences, i watched out for sketers and didn't snake anyone so it went good. i don't think you'd have fun there though.

Oh well thats good. As long as no one hits anyone we should be fine. This is actually to our advantage, we get 2 parks. skaters get one.

I've already saved for a bmx to ride at any park. Should be here within the month. No way I would ride MTB on those little quarters, it would be like hitting a wall. Whats up with the quarters not having any top platforms?
