This is my new bike, the Kink Whip 2009... first ever BMX for me. The tyres that come with the bike dont seem like they have alot of tread but ill have to see how fast they wear and good perform and ill be sure to let you guys know if your interested, please let me know what you think plus is the angle of my bars correct because it kept slipping so ive put them back and tightend nearly as much as i could, and slipping asin i moved it with full weight on them, or is it all personal preference? Thx

With your tires not gripping it's probably because of the layer of wax that's on new tires. Once that wears off they should grip better. The angle of your bars is personal preference but most people run their bars at the same angle as their forks (unless you have Odyssey Directors, ha ha). Try doing that and it will probably feel more comfortable. In order to stop your bars from slipping, try sanding down the surface of your bars that the stem clamps onto. As well if you have to, sand the inside of your stem a bit. By roughening the paint up, the stem should stick and hold the bars better.
