i know there are twenty tooth out there, i really want one, what size should my other one be, or is it personal preference type deal. will it do damage?
there is no perfect ratio. for mtb standard is 36 - 16 1 tooth on cassette is about 2/3 equivelant on a chainring for mtb i good general micro drive gear would be 24 - 10
44 is quite a big sprocket. You can find pretty small ones im sure. but 25 seems pretty reasonable size. that way you have a bit of leverage on your back ratio because i think 12 is the smallest tooth you can use on a normal mountainbike hub.
