is that smart to take fully...? i have some experience on HT... but that's not enough for something serious... sry for my bad english...

thats a really nice bike, if you can afford it i would buy it, but make sure you like it first(take it for a test ride). that will definatly be a good bike for downhill, but also look at maybe the 2010 giant glory dh, or the devinci wilson. but the bike youre looking at now is nice

most of these are under the category of freeride bikes


basics:
make sure u have at least x7 or lx shifter+rear d.

a rear shock with a piggyback on it

a fork that isnt outdated (it is for a reason)

the chainguide is ass, but the bike is fine i wouldnt trust the frame i've never heard of it
