I am looking to buy a Rockshox Argyle for my new Black Market Riot and have found that the 2007's run for much cheaper than the 2008's. Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between the two that would sway my decision?

the 07's steerer tube bend super easy.

yup. the 07 is cr-mo so it bent, now they are alu which is much stronger.

mines a 07 which i bought second hand and they seem to be fine theve gotten beat by two ppl and steere is perfect

that could be because of older stuff going down in price.
new stuff is more expensive.

that doesnt change the fact that one is newer and more expensive because of it nonetheless.

same fork..different colors and different material for the streer tube..i basically rode an argyle 318 for my first solid year of biking.. and you have to be a pretty big f*cking hack to bend the steer..im 220,nose cased a number of times,landed hard,big under/over-rotated spins,and it was still perfact..go for the 07...unless you have the cash to blow on the 08
