hey wondering if i feel the same here. where i live we have kids that clame there bike is worth $1200+. they say i need to get a better bike, bull sh!t. what gets me is that they think they r good because there bike is good?

one guy at uor skate park thinks his bike is worth $1700 and he can one hander. not saying that im good or anything ( i dont think i am) but r kids just buying these bike to show off?

what do u think about this?

i'm not the greatest rider, but the reason i have a nice bike is I wanted to figure out how to build a bike from scratch

Just take pride in the fact that you can show up all the posers with a bike not as good.

i think that people who get really nice bikes are: eather really good/fast watever, or they just have enough money to buy nice bikes and like to treat themselfs.

im not the greatest (even though my friends think im crazy =S) but the reason i forked out a lot of cash is because i want a bike that i dont have to upgrade when i do become really good

i think how good your bike is has to do with your standards and the amount of money you have

but what pisses me off is the buy who busts 3500 bucks on a bike, never rides it, brags he is the best rider around, and sucks when he does ride.

and has no idea what he just bought

ya or like that one kid who got his parents to by him a 08 888 just to drop a 3 foot drop and he had 08 66 before he got the 888 saying that he needed a bigger fork to drop the drop

theres a difference between having a nice expensive bike or taking pride in the nice bike you built from the ground up
