Trying not to be rude, but you're pretty dumb. First of all calling someone a pussy for not having brakes is kind of funny. Brakes help with pussying out on tricks. if you dont have breaks you have to commit. Secondly. I ride brakeless and I basically had brand new shoes when I first took the brakes off. I have braked with my foot since last year and more damage has been done to the heels of my shoes from me dragging my feet then damage from my wheel. I have brakes I perfer not to use them.

i really dont think that no brakes makes you commit more. but in all honesty, i dont ride them, cause i think a scuffed rim ruins the looks of your bike (inb4 clear brake pads dont scuff the rim, they do, my friend jake rides them) and brakes also make bikes tend to be noisy and clangy with brakes, which i dislike, i like my bike sounding silent. and lastly, my bike looks cleaner and smoother without brakes, as far as aesthetics go. for function, i think riding without brakes is more fun, just because you have to find interesting ways to stop (hitting little patches of grass to slow yyou down, finding small slopes to hit etc) and its fun just cruising around town with no brakes. i also prefer having no brakes for fakies, so i dont pull the lever and flip, or the lever wont get in the way of my hand etc. idk, in all honesty, i tend to have more fun brakeless and i think thats what counts

I dont get what people are talking about... when did brakes ever ruin fakies??? what do they have to do with freecoasters? and I wasn't calling brakeless riders pu$$ies, i was calling weight-weenies that ride brakeless for weight-cut purposes ONLY are pu$$ies. People that do it just cuz their friends do or cuz everyone else is, that's a pu$$y that doesn't have a mind of his or her own IMO. And I don't mean to completely BASH brakeless riding, I'm just saying there's no real arguement against it. I have just as much fun knowing that i have a brake to slow me down without cramming my shoes against my tires. I go through enough shoes and tires as it is. brakes are a safer way to ride and they provide a more diverse trickbook. I actually dont commit better without brakes. Cuz in my mind, i KNOW i dont have brakes and that worries me while I'm riding. There's been lots of stairsets and ledges I've done that lead right into walls if you dont brake quick enough. If I did those brakeless I would have either went into the wall or fallen off my bike trying to brake on impact lol. I dont care if u ride brakeless cuz you think its fun and u enjoy it more but dont argue that it's better. people comment on others' pics on here calling them b****es for having brakes on their street ride or they say "go brakeless man, so much better"... F@%# that $#!% If they wanted to ride a brakeless bike I'm sure they know how to remove them off their bikes. So all in all, the only thing that annoys me about brakeless riders is when they think they're kooler and better because they're brakeless. (ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE LIKE THIS!!!)

No you don't. You can hop off your bike, turn away, drag your feet or jam your foot in your tyre. Going brakeless gives you no special powers to unpussify yourself. If you were too much of a pussy to huck it before, you'll still be too much of a pussy once you remove the brake.

exactly... And it's not even always about being a pussy, theres just some things you SHOULDN'T do YET... and u do those things when you feel comfortable doing them. yanking brakes off your ride isn't going to make you a better rider or anything

For me anyways,running brakeless is not a option,where I live there are so many hills,slopes and steep curves in the city,without brakes I would bound to hit a person,car or whatever.....or even worse,get hit by a car.
