Yes, it's basic physics. Weight doesn't make something fall any faster. It's wind resistance. If you have a 100 lb ball and a 1 lb ball, they would fall at the same speed.

well even if its not falling faster there is still an extra 200lbs of force hitting the ground which makes a big difference.
