a 2005 manitou stance blunt 20mm. feels great, had to put a few washers on top of the spring to stiffen it up tho. I use it for dirt jumping and its great. It rarely bottoms and is really progressive and plush.

06 shermans-amazing, light stiff strong, everything you need!
07 travis single 180- amazing
and for all those who own metals of course they suck they are a low end budjet shock

Oh and I forgot to mention that the left seal on my Nixon popped off on me once. It simply wasn't pressed in right from the factory, though, and when I pressed it back in, it stayed. No problems since

i love manitous for their weight...gold labels are 4.6ish lbs and its hard to find a fork that light with 20mm axle for 350$

yeah my nixons are 145 mm travel and they weigh like 4.5 lbs! that's lighter than my old, stock 100mm RS Dart

not to mention the minute which one used to have 20mm axle not anymore though but it was hovering around 4. and the travis is light for a freeride 180mm fork.

I actually just checked the manitou website, and its 4.2 lbs for the new nixon, 145mm, with 20mm thru axle

had bad experiences with an '07 Nixon Platinum and a '06 sherman slider, but my current Swinger x6 rear shock with Progressive Ti spring is performing marvellously thus far (one good season's worth).

2006 manitou stance blunt
150 mm, rebound adjustment

i have been really suprized about this fork, no flexing, and with reading all the reviews people saying it's crap, well it really isn't, maybe i have the newer better one but either way it is a really good for, it has a nice long axle to crown measurement, so it makes your bike sit really nice for a single crown, the only problem i had with it is it was to plush, it would bottom out easily. but that's about it. I should have gotten thicker oil and a stiffer spring but it was the end of the season and didn't have money to spend but other then that it is a great fork,. i'd give it a 7.5/10

I've got a manitou metel, everybody says it's crap, but it works ok for my weight... i once used a friends big hit with a DHX4 and i didnt notice that much of a diference... although i didnt do big stuff with the big hit, since it wasnt mine ya know? but the metel is ok... i just want a 450Lbs spring and it's stiffer, i like rear shocks stiff...
