No, you're just trying to cover your ass so you seem right. Gimme a break. You're allowed to be wrong once in a while, no one is going to bite your head off, unless you don't cop to it.

read that again. That's why.

As you get higher up in the demo line, you get more travel and more weight.

Are you racing or doing fr?

more freeride but i wanna run a double crown fork like a 888

Then I'd suggest the 8.

demo 7 is a freeride bike (steep head angle), demo 8 is a dh bike (slack head angle) and the demo 9 is a big hucking bike(weighs a lot).

of course you did,you assumed that the demo 7 was shorter due to shorter travel, never even taking into consideration that the 7 is a bike with differing design needs.

you felt it nessecery to argue the point without factuality so yes you were well and truly owned, good day sir and just take it like man.Salute

so all the benefits of a demo 8's travel and nimbleness of a demo 7 right?

7.7 inchs of travel.

demo 7 runs 2.5 inch stroke shock.

demo 8 runs 2.75 inch stroke shock.

in theory the demo 7 should be able to run a 2.75 stroke shock with no ill effects, other than a ever slightly steeper head angle.
