I have a mavic D 321 on a magura gustav dt hub and I cant find any info about the Mavic D 321 rim:P Are thy better then the 721 or f.eks the deemax or is it not that god? I wonder what I can compare them with
First of all, quit bumping your ad. No one is answering your question because you can simply go to google and type in Mavic D321 and get plenty of reviews and opinions on the rim and this is pretty self explanatory. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out.
On another note, just so you will stop bumping your ad, here is the answer. The Mavic D321 is now called the Mavic 729. Therefore, the D321 is better than a 721 rim as it is stronger and lighter. However, the D321 is not as strong or light as the Deemax rim which is called an EX823. The D321/729 is a great rim for the money. It is very capable of taking the abuse that DH/FR will throw at it but since you can't run them tubeless unless you buy a tubeless conversion kit, they are a little on the heavy side for racing.
