their are much better bikes outside of these 2 bikes. The jackal is really heavy and personally i dont like the geometry. Is their any specific reason you are comparing these 2? cause their are other awesome options out there such as Giant, Specialized

these are the two my parents said i could get because their on sale but yeh there are other bike brands that are good

me thinks you may need to do a little more research. its great that you asked us, but if youre seriously considering the 2 then maybe http://mtbr.com might need a little more visiting. but, i would go to you lbs and ride the jackal first to make sure its the bike for you. just my thoughts. Smile

ive been to mtbr all realdy snd im gonna test ride a jackal soon
