doeas shimano make bbs that will fit euro and work with xt cranks?/

can anyone help me with this and how to do it>

1. Buy a Shimano XT crankset. I'd actually spring for an XTR M970, that shit is sick. Also buy an E13 Guidering.

2. With the appropriately sized allen keys, take off the rings. There should be one granny, on the 64BCD mounts, and two bigger ones on the 104BCD mounts, like say 32 and 42. Remove all of those and install that E13 Guidering you also bought.

3. Drop your Mob off at the bike shop, considering your posts so far, they should handle the rest. It's very important to tell them to leave the plastic cup out of the BB, it adds an unnecessary 13g.

4. Pick up bike, pay.

5. Go ride!

Um, depends on the bike buddy.
DMR bikes used to have all american bbs, and some street bikes now (such as norco) use spanish bottom brackets.

XT cranks use an external bearing set-up that is ONLY euro threads. So in short yes you can. But you can only use a 32t or larger on the outer ring due to the 104 bolt pattern as the inner ring usually can't support a chainring that will work.

Long story short save yourself a lot of time and get BMX cranks. If you have to ask the question that you did, you do not know what you are doing.
