661 shoes last 2 mins of hardcore riding! i currently have shimano dx shoes they are tough cookies and really grippy on platform pedals

and this may sound mad but i once went out in my combat boots (all other shoes were wet) and they are even better than 5:10's! no kidding they were great Big Grin

I have 5-10s, as well as the Marzocchi 5-10-look-alikes. I actually prefer the authentic 5-10s, though - slightly more "feel" to them.

5.10 mids! I have used Adidas Hematomas, C1rca's, and Merrel Chameleons. The Hematomas were ok, didn't fit that well, the C1rca's had absolutely no grip on any pedals that I tried, and the Merrel's didn't have a stiff enough sole for long rides, my feet would kill after about a half hour. 5.10's are the shit, no doubt about it!
