Hello, if someone could help me.. Im planning on building a new wheelset and had a look at WTB i-23 frequency rims wich are cheaper and lighter than my ztr flow ex. So had a look around and there is just 1 i-23 left in stock at CRC but they do have the i-25 frequency. I asume 23 and 25 are the width... So does a i-23 & i-25 set makes sense?

They'll go straight to a dartmoor hornet that I'm building on hope's pro 2 evo hubs, aggressive trail / all mountain riding..

Thanks!

I love Frequency TCS rims. If there is only one 23 and one 25 left, I would put the 25 in the rear and the 23 in the front.

Will Atomlab Torque nipples fit standard spokes or do I have to buy Atomlab spokes as well?

Nah mate they fit normal spokes. I used DT Swiss spokes when I laced mine up.

Question. I'm getting sun ringle mtx 33 rims with Hadley. Rear 150 mm hub. Not sure on front hub. For the rear I'm getting a calculated spoke length of 258.7 and 259.1. Is it ok to go with 259 both drive and non drive side.

Thanks

I would drop to a 258 on the drive side as this will give you more opportunity to get more tension on the drive side. I know sometimes it would be jice just to grab a box of one size and run with it....and yea it would work... however just hate to see a spoke bottom out before full tension is on it

It also depends on which brand of spoke you're using. DT Swiss tend to be slightly shorter than their labeled size, whereas Wheelsmith are a bit more accurate.

What does the rim say and what does the site say?

535 on site and rim says 536. Maybe just an old measurement on the site.

Most times I usually wait until I have the rims in my hands to measure egerything. However when in doubt go to the manufacturers ERD.

Because you are 1mm off between the two easurements it will not make too much difference in the grand scheme of things. You'll be alright.
