i might be going for opening day, im going up july 23 to the following tuesday and i might go iup for a day during crankworx! im pupmed and its my first dh bike ever i usually ride it on a hardtail cant wait!

Anyone out there know when they open up the Garbanzo zone? Im taking a guess by saying they dont open it up first day? I am planning my trip to whistler, and i want to make sure evrything is up and running

Thanks bro. If i am only going for 10 days, is it better to go in the early season to try to beat the crowds of summer, or wait until Garbanzo opens to experience the whole shebang?

i personally say go later on... because then it's not as hot and not as many people, but it still is crowded, it is whistler lol. but ya it's hella worth the garbonzo lift!!!!!1
just my 2 cents tho..

go later when garb is open. yeah it gets busy but garbanzo is never bad, and you can't miss out on some of the trails/combos up there, especially after the rebuilds to freight train and no joke.
