March 31/2009 Two of Yeti Cycles Executives walked into the One Ghost Industries/Lunchbox Labs office in Portland Oregon at the same time as one walked into the Lunchbox Labs that OG owns in east Boulder, CO (operated by Moto G.P.) where they each proceeded to "aquire" every aspect of design, creation, and prototyping done by One Ghost Industries, LLC. Yeti was also sighted leaving the scene holding one of the new Tanto hard tail frames and was quoted as saying "Bad Ass" or "baarrrreeee aarrsssee" or some other noise as it grabbed the new hard tail frame and stuck it between it's legs and pretended to ride it away. The guys at OG are still in absolute AWE as they never thought theat a Yeti could actually RIDE a bike let alone felt threatened enough to come and take all of their bikes and ability to produce more. In light of this whole situation, One Ghost Industries will be forced to pull the plug on Lunchbox Labs and on any possible production of their bikes. The guys are all taking this really hard and were quoted as saying "it'll be much harder to rebuild the company, especially without our keg-data aquizition equipment, our kegerator and tap, our wall mounted bottle opener/time clock, Ghost's dog bones..." as as GP and Tank chimed in here.."and OUR BIKES! Those hairy ba$%ARds took our bikes! We can't even ride to the pub now!" All in all, the guys are looking up in the face of losing everything.. "Good news is we have proof that Yeti's are real and they DO like bikes so that's cool" Maybe I can sell the photo back to Yeti and make some money. After all, I could use a job now!"
Yeah, it TOTALLY sucks! We just got our new computers and hard tail bikes in too!
Yeah So I got a call from my Yeti rep today and he's offering me the katana frames to me at my shop, www.joestoleit.com, for $400 a piece!! I think I got twenty of them ordered and today only, whoever goes to my site and emails me pictures of their hot moms, I will sell them the frame at cost!!! No fat chicks tho.
I also heard that Yeti is planning on ditching all of the 303's R and dh to start production of One Ghost's frames as "they where far superior than what was currently available". Also, that the One ghost frames are going to be all carbon fiber. mmmmm Carbon

Oh wow that really sucks and right after your new bikes came out
One Ghost industries was a victim of a hostile takeover earlier today, but not by Yeti Cycles as first reported. Turns out OG's new owner was pulling an April fools prank. The new owners of One Ghost revealed themselves to be none other than bicycle powerhouse Pacific cycles, a division of Dorel industires. A Dorel spokesman had this to say about their recent aquisition.....
"We are happy to announce the recent buyout of One Ghost industries by our subsidiary Pacific Cycles. We will be shelving the One Ghost brand name for now. But I am authorized to inform you all that we will be making the full line of One Ghost bikes available rebranded through our premium brand, Mongoose. That's right, check out the new Mongoose Katana available mid April at your local Wal-Mart for an amazing retail price of $449.99. Its the first DH race bike to break the $500 price barrier!"
Our sources tell us this new Katana will be made of Hi-ten steel, and have a slightly redesigned frame. Component spec is still unconfirmed, but expect at least a high quality Shimano 18 speed drivetrain. It will also be the replacement for Mongooses current FR/DH offering, the DXR. In related news, unofficial reports confirm Pacific aquired controlling interest in One Ghost via an online poker website. Then quietly purchased the remaining stock for an unconfirmed figure between $65 and $70, making this one of the biggest deals in One Ghost history.........
"as i was walking into our plant where we make our bikes to open up shop. i hear a loud noise where we keep our keg data. i flick on the lights and a large superhuman yeti was there with a handfull of tantos and katanas in his arms. i asked him 'what the hell are you doing!?!' the yeti growled at me and said, 'MIIINE!' in response. i planted my feet and grumbled, 'your not leaving with a fight!' the yeti growled again. we both charged together and began a huge brawl. fist after fist and kick after kick finally after about 30 minutes of battle gp finally walked in. the yeti saw him in shock,he then picked me up and slammed my face into a cnc machine and fled the scene with our keg data and everything in a large sac, leaving me knocked out and GP chasing after him yelling "you rat B@#tard!" as a result i suffered a large concussion and one hell of a shiner, GP was scratchless."
