And you're saying that rails won't have that problem too? The threads on the one bolt in the pivotal post will lock out water better than the hollow seat rail clamp on railed setups.

i hav a 24seven and am wondering wether a plain pivotal post will fit straight away?

holy crap. we have been reserected! honestly, it doesn't matter which one is the lightest. we are talking only a few grams difference here. Idk about your 24seven, but you will probably need a shim.

I have a fit seat with rails it looks awesome and i think rails can be slammed a lot easier than pivitols

Pivotal seats look good, theyre neat, and light.
Railed seat are usualy a bit heavier, look a litle ugly(sometimes), and but are stronger.
I guess its a case of add a litle weight for more strenght, although iv never broken a pivotal.
Some bikes just dont go with pivotals, and some bikes dont go with rails.

You dont want a dmr post, theyre realy fat at the top meaning you cant slam them and a look abit ugly. Just get a bmx post and a shim, cant go wrong.

They must have changed them then, they used to be fatter at the top so you couldnt slam it.
