My friend and I wrote this Proposal to try and get a freeride trail built in our local forest. The Trail Committee approved it but we need to meet with the Town Land Trust for final approval. I need to come up with an opening statement, as quickly as possible the meeting is November 11!

Here are some of the main points we come up with.
- Various aged freeriders (older riders have volunteered to maintain the trail after the younger riders are gone)
- Trail will be for all skill levels
- Trail will be all natural
- Trail will help eliminate illegal building on the trails
- Large portion of trail users in Westwood’s are mountain bikers

It's a bit late for your meeting...but IMBA has some great resources that could help you out. Check out their "managing mountain biking" book.
