you looseen the left side (as in sitting on your bike and looking forwards), but not all the way and then stick the allen key in the other side and go for it

Flip the lever completely over and then turn it counterclockwise( lefty loosy /righty tighty ).

It's a maxle. Flip the lever down into the groove and turn it until it comes loose (to the left) and it should thread out of the lowers until you can pull it out.

should look something like this.

i have one lil tip sometimes you cant pull the axle out even if you loosed it completely. it kinda jams if that happens you just need to loosen the QR inner axle thing by turning the lil cone looking nut on the other side
