This, is my 1972 ALAN ss.

It's a bit of biking history due to being the first, massed produced aluminium bike frame. Its also older than I am.

simplicity, trouble free, less to think about so i can just concentrate on my lines. plus, my derailleur is destroyed, so i could either spend 60-100$ getting a new one, or MAKE a few bucks by selling my shifter and buying a tensioner.

alright fairenough, but i think you will get quite a bit of chaingrowth so im not sure if this will 100% work..
