i'm pretty sure a long time ago it was all made in canada, but i believe now they're all made in taiwan, which you must understand is okay.

didn't say taiwan was that bad

in this case there have been a couple of threads on pb where people showed pics of poorly finished mythic bikes

but then my last three specialized frames came from taiwan and were almost perfect

That guy designs stuff for Banshee. The Amp is definitely his design. Pretty sure there mostly designed in Scotland or somewhere in the UK.

EDIT: Just pointing out the would have been designed in Canada, I don't know how long they've been designed in Scotland for. As far as I know it's only the latest line-up incl. Amps and Wilcards etc.

Banshee bikes are made by this company - Pacific Cycles in Taiwan.

Keith (aka 'Builttoride') works for Banshee but is Scottish (according to Banshee's website), dunno if he lives in Canada or Scotland though.

And if its your Norco 4x you're looking to replace with the Wildcard my advice is don't, your 4x will pedal better, and is most likely lighter and a better bike for dirt jump/slopestyle riding.

na
wildcard is lighter when i get an air shock and when i test rode it pedalled far better.
i need a bit more give than my xxxx anyway and something more all round
