I haven't ridden a 2010 boxxer but I love my 40s. Just my 2cents

i haven't spent much time on the new boxxers but i have 07 40's with 09 and they feel soo damn good.

-no flex
-smoothe as butter
-easily adjusted
-stiff and responsive when your riding smoothe trail, but every bit as plush as you need when it gets rough.
-low maintenance (people may claim that 40's are high maintenance and not worth the hassle in 6 months of riding i've changed teh seals once and put new oil in once, as long as you clean the stanchions and the seals after every ride, and maybe lube everything up for good measure the fork will keep going and going and....)

I love my 40's, and you will love your 40's to Smile

Whell i have the Fox 40 Rc2 and the Boxxer WC, and personaly i prefer my 40's, because they are really smoth and plush, the Boxxer for me are a little stiff even with few air, but I never tried a team so i can´t say anything about them

have you riden any of them? i hate people saying oh i think his one is more adjustable, etc, you cant tell if you havent ridden both. I have riden fox 40's on session 88 and hey are amazing, they feel stiff when riding not rough terrain but when its rough its so plush and feels amazing, pretty light aswell, and no boxxer wc is not cheaper and much lighter that 40's. havent roden 2010 boxxers tho

part from he said that he wanted the teams??Madder
and you dont have to ride the fork to know that it has more adjustabilty Facepalm
actually you have to, adjust it and ride it. and then you come to conclusion which one is better

you have to ride the fork to know how it feels and how it rides, but to know how much adjustabiltly it has you just need to read about the fork

40's are great, but highest maintainance of any fork I've ever had. Boxxer Race is lighter (mine is 6.3 lbs.), way cheaper and rides just as nice in my opinion.

Which fork has more world cup podiums? I think that pretty much says everything.

what one is better for free ride?

Wouldn't touch a 2010 coil Boxxer (Team/Race) for riding to the corner store forget about even DH, go with the 40.
