strange why they changed their mind and let 4x to roll

Why wouldn't they?
The reason Quali got cancelled was because the riders couldn't use the chairlift. No chairlift needed for 4X.
yeah but if you would see pics of 4x track you would definitely change your mind

They had practice this morning in the wet, but then quali was cancelled because of the chairlift.

So the track is wet? Man the f*ck up. It's mountain biking.

He said that no-one was riding earlier on in the thread.

it would be fine if its wet, from what ive gathered (after caring enough to ask around) it seems thunder and lightning stopped play (ski lifts do not run in thunderstorms) so it would of been too dangerous/slow to run qualifying today

Yeah yeah. It stopped play first thing this morning. Then re-opened, and some practice went ahead. Then the Thunderstorms came back and the lifts had to be closed.

I said that because he said earlier in the thread nothing got ridden. Which, it did.

anyway, weather looks good for tomorrow.

Track would still be a bit wet but I'd say it would be fun.

Riding a wet track is all part of the game.

It'll be the first time this year they've raced on a properly muddy/wet track.
