Im looking the fit a DHX 3.0 coil, my current shock has and eye to eye of 200mm with a 50mm stroke, the DHX has a 200mm eye to eye but a 55mm stroke, will this still work??, i know it may sound like a really simple question but i just need to know before i click buy, input would be seriously appreciated, cheers

depends on your frames clearance - it may cause your linkage to hit something with the extra compression.

200x50 shocks can still be bought aftermarket, if not sure or you can't find out whether it'll work, then probably best to stick with the 50mm stroke

Well depending on your ratios etc, that 5 mm may equate to quite a bit more travel. This could place undesigned stress on your linkage if you bottom out.
I would recommend actually contacting your bike manu though.
Sorry I can't be much help.

i've just measured the shock piston i currently have, it's 56mm, is this the stroke or is it where the shock bottoms out, indicated by the sag ring, because that is about half a mil off the bottom of the piston, cheers
