Hey i'm in the same boat i am a beginner looking for a new bike and i\m just learning. In my town there are not many dirt jumps so i want a street/park. I would like it light to be better at bunny hopping. I am also looking for something used that is kinda a low price range. Btw where are you from?

it depends how good you are now
but i would go for 26 because 24 feels weird.
and if your not amazing i would get a complete but if your pretty good and planning to bike alot build it up yourself

get a 26 inch there great for beginners, but if possible stay away from hydraulic discs for beginners, waaaaay to much responsibilyty. and building up a bike for a beginner is way to complicated if you dont know what you are doing you have to make sure evrything fits rite and sometimes you have to get a part toexpensive that fite or a absolutly shitty part that fits but if you local bike sho helps its easier

i\m just starting and i don't know much about bikes so i am going to buy a complete but should i buy a 24 because i am only about 5'1 and 100 pounds so i thought a 24 inch would be better for me.

for tricks.... Bmx is just sooo much easier. But i ride 26 inch, Go with something along the like of Blk mrkt, NS or Dobermann. All of their bikes are pretty dialed. 24-26 it really doesnt matter, but 24 will be easier to throw around.

a buddy of mine just got a dobermann and paid 2500$ so i think that they are out of my price range.
