PM (message) me your reviews on products and I'll edit them into the first post with your name credited. Only well written and thought out reviews will be accepted. So for example, if all you put is that the product is good and you like it then it will not be included. As well, you must have personally used the product. You can't just go off what other people have said. We want this to be a good resource for us BMXers so the more time you spend writing a good review the more helpful it'll be. Also, we can have more than one review for a single product as a rider may have had a different experience with the product or even the same experience.

FRAMES:

2008 Redline Device G5
Overall I like this frame. It sits at a nice comfortable weight of less than 5 pounds and is packed with features and design details you'd want in a frame. It's constructed of heat treated Sanko chromoly tubing, has a butted top tube, laser cut seat stay brace, an externally CNC machined seat tube (from the outside the ends of the tube are wider where the higher stress points are and towards the centre it's narrower) and a gusset on the down tube. The frame has removable gyro tabs, an integrated headset and a mid bottom bracket. The three available colours, white to green fade, limited edition black crackle and blue fade look great in my opinion. I picked my Device up on sale for $200 and I think they retail in the $330 area. Even not on sale that is a great price for this frame. I ride the 21" toptube and it feels as comfortable as can be for me. The only complaint I have with this frame is the long chainstays measuring at 14.25". This makes the bike more stable but not as flickable and twitchy. I managed to slam the wheel at pretty much 14" but it still felt a bit long for my liking. I prefer 13.75". I'd recommend this frame if you are more of a dirt rider and like the long rear end for stability.

Sputnic Satelight V2
I absolutly love this frame, almost no problems with it! It has very strong tubing, especially dropouts, and chainstays, I couldn't tell you how many times I have slammed them on rough concrete, and only the paint scratches. Really light too. I only have two issues with it, and they are both basically my fault. One of them is the spanish BB. The bearings are so small, that they wear out quite quick. I should have taken note to this when I made the purchase of the frame. And also, the 21" TT is too long for my liking. A 20.75 would feel better, because it spins so slow due to it's length and my lack of height, but it is really stable in the air.

Best frame I've ridden. I ride the 21" and it feels awesome underneath me. Light, durable and the geometry is spot on. Works nice for grinding as there are no dents yet. I love it. -holybmx

Fly Tierra
Light and very comfortable. I've had the 21.4" which is very stable but a little hard to spin and manual and also the 20.6" which is awesome for me as I'm 5'9". It spins very fast, hops high, and manuals are easier but more unstable as some air tricks are too. The Tierra has very short chainstays which I like. If you ride lots of street and don't ride trails or get much air, it's the perfect frame.

Wethepeople Lo-Fi
I just got this frame, maybe a month ago in 20.75" and I LOVE it. It has a very low balance point that makes it extremely easy to manual. I have just started grinding and I have abused my chainstays to the max and there are no dents or any other problems with the frame. It's also very sturdy in the air. 10/10

Simple Debut
The best frame I have ridden. It feels great and is very light. It only weighs about 5 lbs 2.8 oz. The frames geo is great for me. Simply love it! I would give it 8/10.

Macneil Heaton (2003)
Well, this frame is tough, but with that comes weight. It is like 6.4 lbs. It might be good for trails or something but not the best for street and park. This thing has like 13 dents in it but no cracks or any of that. It also has chainstay brake mounts which is a minus for me. It's still a decent riding frame, with a higher bottom bracket for street. Overall alright frame. 6.5/10

S&M LTF
Amazing frame. It's light, indestructible and rides great. Although I got it used the only downsides to this frame is it comes in at $399.99 USD and only comes in raw or black. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone. 9/10!

Fit Dak
I love this frame. It manuals so easily and feels stable on everything. It's got a little lower standover but I think it looks good. The 75 degree HT angle gets you over the front of the bike and helps with nose manuals. If you ride skateparks and street you will not be disappointed. However, the steeper HT and lower standover makes it feel a little less stable for dirt jumps. It holds out well on grinds because the tubing is straight guage so it stays the same thickness throughout the chainstays, making it more dent resistant. The red, black and raw colors all look very nice in person, and once built up, even better. 9.5/10

S&M Randy Brown
Without a doubt, the best frame I have ever ridden or owned. First of all, I just can’t believe its strength to weight ratio. I’ve bent a lot of rear ends on my previous frames and I’ve rode this one twice as hard. The 13.55” rear end is just perfect as it’s a great mix between an LTF and a Tierra, which are common liked frames. I also like how the frame was designed so with a half link chain your drop outs are perfectly slammed. It’s a great feature as its one less tool to bring to the skatepark. The only negative side to this frame is that the paint does and will flake on you in the trans red it comes in.

PEDALS:

1664 Unsealed Aluminum Shaved Beavertrap Pedals
These pedals are reasonably light and have a nice shape and feel to them. Unfortunately the pins are very short and 1664 only makes replacement pins that are the same length. Due to the short pins they aren't all that great grip wise. After about a year of riding I have realized the pedal spindles on mine are very bent and by no means am I a rough rider. I was very surprised to see this. Also, the plastic end caps on mine moved in or caved into the pedal quite quick. However, this didn't make them perform any differently.

1664 Sealed Magnesium Shaved Beavertrap Pedals
Wide body, spin well, look great but the grip is not very good at all. You can replace some of the pins with ones from Odyssey Jim C pedals but only on one side. As for the other side, the pins are small, too small to get a grip, and tend to fall out frequently. Overall alright pedal. 6.5/10

Shadow Nostra Plastics (PC's)
Well the first thing I noticed about these pedals were that they have a huge platform! I personally love the wedge shape look of them, but its definitely not for everyone. The grip on these in my mind is better than any of the other PC's I have had or ridden. They have a very strong spindle and do not flex as much as other pedals (at least I thought). They also come in nice colors and are cheaper than most PC's. Now for the bad points... I find they do not grip that well in the rain or wet/muddy conditions. They also have weak end caps that if you have to drop/throw your bike down sometimes cave in. Mine at first weren't spinning well after one caved in but after a day or two of riding they were fine. So overall I give these pedals an 8/10 and recommend them!

Odyssey Twisted Plastics (PC)
I love them more than any pedal. They may wear out fast but for $15 USD they are quite the bang for your buck. I have never had any problems with them. Make sure not to do any pedal grinds or anything because they will be gone in 5 seconds. Don't even bother riding in wet weather with these though.

Odyssey Trailmix
These pedals are pretty good. I think they need more pins. My feet would always slip off. I'd recommend them if you have grippy shoes.

Great Pedals. I have rode these in heavy rain and my shoes, which aren’t the grippiest, have stayed on when caked in mud! 10/10

Just got some Odyssey Trailmix (aluminium sealed, £50) today. After opening the box I have to say, they look good and they also come with loads of spare pins. So I put them on and although I've only ridden them for 2 minutes, they feel super strong and smooth. It was raining and the grip was perfect. Also, compared to my old DMR V12's, they have a much bigger platform. They feel like standing on skateboards, instead of the matchstick feel of the v12's. Already super happy with them and I'm looking forward to getting a decent ride in on these awesome pedals. Products like this are the reason I'm a total odyssey whore.

Gusset Slim Jims
These look class and come in every colour possible to suit your bike. They had a nice feel to them when I first got them and were grippy yet easy enough to get your feet off for the no footer tricks! Didn't seem too heavy in weight but they are a little pricey. If you prefer a grippy pedal then you can buy Gusset's xl pins for around £5 which are extremley grippy and easy to change (just need a small allen key). I bought the luminous yellow ones and they are super bright and look awesome!
8/10 in my view with the only downside being the price.

Eastern CFRP (Plastic)
I've had these pedals for 8 months now and I've never used a set as good as these. I can imagine that people will be put off by the brand name, however, these pedals last a long time. The pins have hardly gone down and I ride everyday. The bearings are perfect still and they feel great. I'd give them 10/10.

Demolition Team
Amazing pedals for the price. I have them in cyan blue and they look great! Everybody comments on how good they look. They have a super solid feel and a really grippy surface. They come with a sticker which is oh so important and some spare pins of different sizes. I have only just got these pedals and I run pegs. I have done a few grinds and the pins have been fine but I have been told that you should take the end ones out if you grind. They are slightly heavy but hell, they’re worth it!

Stolen Thermalite Plastic
Really good plastic pedals. They are big and have a lot of grip. They feel like the Odyssey Twisted PC's, but in my opinion they last longer and have a little more grip.

FORKS:

Odyssey Classic Dirt
Bombproof and light. Worth the price. Haven't had it for long but love them. How did Odyssey know I wanted the gold 41 thermal sticker to match the gold parts on my bike? A

This fork might be a little heavy for your liking (although it's not too bad) but it is nice and sturdy. You will never break this thing. It's moreless indestructible. I have this fork with the 990 brake mounts and they work good. I don't think you can get a better fork for the price and there are few forks that are better at all in my opinion. Overall great fork. 9.5/10

Odyssey CS2 Race Forks
Awesome forks that are light and strong. They also come with a sick sticker kit that everyone loves.

Well I've been running mine for a year now and it's been great. It's a nice weight, feels solid and has a standard offset (but I got used to getting on the nose really easy) and overall has a some sick colours out now. Also it's lifetime warrantied. 9/10

Primo Strand
Awesome fork that's light and durable. Works for all aspects of BMX. The off set in the dropouts makes for easier nose wheelies which are always fun. By far my favortie fork so far.

Eastern Nitrous
These forks have been put through hell. They have been beaten more than any part I have on my bike. If you're on a tight budget I'd suggest these. 6/10

BARS:

Federal 4-Piece 20/20
Great bars (I own the 8.25x28 size). I was used to a flatter bar with less backsweep so when I first got them they felt funky. The hand area isn't very big, so even uncut, I just managed to fit an Odyssey Monolever and a full size grip minus the flange on the right side. As far as looks - I got the chrome ones and they aren't even beginning to scratch (bought them in May). The four-piece construction looks unique and nobody in my town is running these bars but me, which makes me feel good. Every one and their mother has Sky Highs, but nobody's got any 20/20's. They've stood up to some nice crashes and haven't bent yet, but I don't really throw my bike, so that might be why they're still in good shape. Aaron Ross I am not.

S&M Slams
By far the best bars I've ever ridden. They feel perfect to me. Good amount of upsweep and backsweep and comfortable height. If 28 inches feels too wide you can always cut them down like I did. Decent weight at 2 pounds even and if you want lighter you can buy the XLT version for $10 more and save 0.3 pounds.

Odyssey Lumberjacks
These things are the toughest bars I've ever ridden as my bike falls a lot and all the bars I've had dented and broke. This refuses to move! Lumberjacks are a little heavy according to some of the big bars, but strong as hell. I ride mine cut to 26" and they're the most comfortable bars I've rode.

These bars are strong as hell. I have taken some bad falls and my bars are still perfectly straight. They also feel extremely good. I cut mine a 1/4 inch on each side and they feel even better. And if you ever did break them, Odyssey's warrenty is excellent.

Failure Dumb Bar
For a tall fellow like myself these are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Great bend (geo) and perfect height for a 6'4" rider. No slipping or random BS either. Not overly wide for a tall bar, so it still clears for x-ups and b-spins without cutting.

Fit Sky High
I love my Sky Highs. I picked them up for £50 ($100) and so far it has been the best £50 ever spent. They’re decently light, strong and the geo is perfect for me. 10/10

Seshin Chilko
Very strong and good feeling bars. They were pretty wide at first but I got used to them. They have really nice geo and I picked them up at a price that was almost a steal. Also, they only come in 2 colours.

United Value
First off, they weigh 2 pounds and are 25.4 inches wide. That's everything I didn't want in a pair of bars. They were so bulky and too small. The only good thing about them was that they were $29.99 off of Transition BMX at the time I purchased them. So for someone wanting small and heavy bars they're perfect. 2/10

Sunday Triumph
Great bars. Feel awesome and are lighter than the S&M bars but with the exact same geo. These bars seem to have a problem cracking right at the bottom of the crossbar bend weld but the lifetime warrenty is really good. I got mine in about 4 weeks with no questions asked even though I hadn't sent in the warranty card. I would recommend these for sure.

Wethepeople Mad Max
Strong and lightweight. I love the 8.7 inch rise. It's perfect for me (I am 6’1”). They handle everything I give them.

Shadow Vultus
I bought the 9" rise version and although they feel really big at first, they seem comfortable on my bike. Very good looking, especially with the tear drop cross bar. Available in 5 different sizes.

GRIPS:

Primo Stricker
When I first got them they felt okay. They are really thin and not very soft, so I did get some blisters and that was in the winter. Now that summer's here I've found out that they don't handle sweat very good so they're really slippery but still hold up pretty good. I just like softer grips... I've had them for 8 months and only the one on the right is starting to wear out a bit. They're great grips for people who ride with gloves because they are thin.

Probably the worst grips I've ridden. Even with dry hands, they are super slick. I don't recommend them unless you ride with gloves.

United U-Jive Grips
Wore out fast. Two reasons for this: they aren't very thick and the logo pattern pieces come off quite easy. I rode them with gloves the entire time I had them. They're moderately soft but still aren't too comfy.

Great comfy long lasting grip. What else could you ask for? Come in a few colours too.

Eclat Chet
Okay grips. Coming from a softer grip I found it was hard to get used to them and my hands were sore after a long ride. After a while my hands started to become used to them and they became a bit softer. They aren't too slippery but at times I found I had to wipe my hands and my grips with my shirt. If you're looking for comfort don't buy these grips. 6/10.

Odyssey Aaron Ross
Feel amazing and look awesome but died relatively quick. I'd suggest these grips if you're really not hard on grips and want something comfy. Maybe just buy like 3 pairs at a time, ha ha.

Comfy as hell. I found the squares (keys) moved around too much though, making it feel like your hands are falling off the grip.

If you sweat a bunch, I don't recommend getting these. They take a while to wear in and are very slick. You will always get compliments on them though. They are somehow mesmerizing to small children. They're really soft but the slick surface makes them not so great. I highly recommend getting these if you wear gloves or if you don't sweat too much. I prefer these over the Odyssey Team grips any day though.

I got my Aaron Ross Grips in the ocean blue and they seem to be a softer compound to the black. I have only had them a day so far, but first impressions are good. 8/10

Soft and wear out really fast. When my hands got sweaty they’d completely slip off. I almost busted my junk when my hand slipped off once.

Odyssey Team
Same as with the Aaron Ross grips, if you sweat, I wouldn't recommend them. They never seem to wear in. I mainly got them for the color, but I should have thought twice. They work great with gloves or dry hands.

Wethepeople All Day
Rode these grips for 2 days and bruised both the palms of my hands. Never had a grip do this. They tell you they are thin but, be warned they mean they are THIN. The removable flange is a really cool added feature. Comes in a variety of colours. I wouldn't recommend them to any serious huckers or anyone grinding on concrete whatsoever. 4/10

Animal Edwin
Very comfy and slip resistant. Wear out pretty quick UNLESS you ride gloves every time you ride. If you ride them with gloves for a month and then ride one day without gloves, half the grip will be left in your hand in the form of little rubber shreds. B

As much as I dislike Animal these are the absolute best grips I have ever used. I ran them until I could see the bar. I'm definitely buying another pair. They seem to wick the sweat away. I love them.

After hearing the hype on these grips I decided to buy my first pair. Got a pair in black and cut the flanges off. Grips were slippery the first few rides but after I broke them in they got better. They are soft but do wear fairly quickly. If your prepared to buy new grips every 2-3 months then these grips are great for the time you do ride them. If your in it for the long run I would suggest something else. I would like to say 10/10 but they wear too quickly. Overall I would give these grips 8/10.

Holy long lasting grips batman! I've had these grips for friggin' ever and they're finally to a point that I think they may actually be starting to wear away. I'm not sure they still look brand new but they feel oh so soft.

These grips are amazing. At first they feel hard and hurt but once you wear that first hard outside bit of rubber to expose the super soft part, they're great. I've had these grips for two years. I would recommend these to anyone looking to buy their last pair of grips.

ODI Longneck Lock-On's
Love these grips. Pattern is a classic. The grip is more than ample and due to being a lock-on design they've never slipped or moved on the bars. Lasted 5 months and only showing signs of wear now. I predict that they still have years of grip left and that is with riding my bike every day. 9/10.

Duo Van Homan
They have a similar pattern like the Edwins and are so comfy. Not many color choices but the blue looks great.

Odyssey Griswald
These are pretty much Odyssey's version of the Edwins and are great. DON'T USE GRIP GLUE ON THESE THOUGH!!!! Mine ripped bad, it just ate holes right through them. They are more smooth than Edwins as they have a slicker finish.

These grips are amazing when they are dry but as soon as there is a little bit of moisture or dirt in the equation, they give up and you can hardly hold on to your bike, so I usually end up walking home. Great variety of colours which is good for a colour schemed bike. 5/10

Very very comfy. I haven't found they get too slippery when sweaty but they wear down super quick. The little lines that stand up seem to get ripped up immediately.

Eastern Skull
These are quite long lasting grips. They've given me plenty of grip and just enough comfort for 4 months. Not at all a bad product. I'd give them a 7/10.

Demolition Waffle
Great grips that are almost as comfy as Animal Edwins. Soak up sweat like nothing else. They don't slip easy but for some reason only one side ever seems to wear down. Overall great grips. 9/10

Mosh Eddie
These are Eddie Cleveland's signature grips. Not super soft or particularly comfortable until they are broken in, but if you like really thin grips, these have lasted forever. I've been running them for about 4 months and they are just starting to go bald where my palm rubs the hardest. 8/10

Odyssey Chase Hawk
Really cheap grips. Pretty thick and have a very unique feel. After a whole day session of riding these grips, I love them to bits. Great grips for the price, not too hard and not too soft. Pretty much perfect!

Shadow Thirteen
Very comfortable grips. They have very good grip even when yout hands get sweaty. However, they do not last a long time. I've had mine for about a month now and there's spots where there are none of the "ribs". They are a fairly thin grip as well.

Stolen Money Grips
I bought these grips a couple weeks ago because I tore my old grips. They were a pain to get onto my bars because of a smaller inside diameter, but after putting them on they haven't turned or slid, even without glue. At first they were hard on the hands but after about 4 hours of riding they were soft and extremely comfortable. I'd give them an 8 out of 10.

CRANKS:

Demolition Medial Cranks V1
I snapped one and got a friend to weld it for me in mechanics class because Demo wouldn't cover it since I wasn't the original owner. Then about a week later I snapped the other arm. I wasn't like hucking stair sets or anything either, one broke on a hop 3 and the other broke landing a boosted 180 out of a bowl.

Not that good of cranks. Mine are stuck together now and make a bad clicking sound. Didn’t really like the shape of them either but that’s just me.

Fly Cranks
Awesome, light, strong and look good. Easy to get on and off once you get used to it.

Odyssey Wombolt
I loved them for the time I had them. One great feature is that they come with a built in sprocket spacer. They're light and cool looking, what more could you ask for?

Primo Hollowbite
I have been running them for a while and they're awesome. Very strong and easy to throw on and off. However, at first they did creak and squeak quite a bit. They do come loose sometimes too, so just tighten up the bolts really good and they should be fine. Some riders will find that the bulkiness with cut up their ankles while riding but after you ride them for a little bit your body adjusts and you no longer hit them. Great cranks. 9/10

Eclat Tibia
Amazing. They feel so solid. You can just tell you bought the best cranks. I love them a lot. They're insanely light too. Buy these, you wont regret it.

Great cranks. I rode mine for 3 months. Very smooth and lightweight. My friend managed to snap his but even so, I would still recommend these cranks. 8/10.

Profile GDH
I got them in chrome and the first thing I said was, "wow, they are friggin' shiny." They definitely look the part and a lot of pro riders run them if they aren't being paid to run another crank, so that says something. I put them on and used them for about a week of solid riding. I went to snug up the crank bolts and was surprised to see they hadn't come loose at all. That was without using the loctite that is included with these cranks. The spindle is hollow to save some weight, and its 19mm, so it's a little smaller and looks super clean. These are the cranks that started it all. 10/10

Mankind Justice
Just got these about two weeks ago and they're the best thing I have bought in a while. Super stiff, two piece and come in at a weight of 1.84 pounds. I got them in the raw finish and all I can say is great product. Two thumbs up....

SPROCKETS:

Odyssey MDS Chainwheel/Sprocketguard
Bomb proof. I did bend mine but I am an idiot. Don't try to run a halflink with this sprocket. Will not work in your favour. B+

Super strong and has saved me from breaking my chain so many times. If you mess up on a grind, the guard on the sprocket will save you (I’m running pegs on the driver side). Pretty light and looks quite cool. But if you’re running one of those heavy duty chains, I don't think it will work. I tried it with a KMC 410h and had some problems.

Eastern Medusa Lite
Soft metal. Teeth wear into hooks and don't like to let go of the chain. Looks cool though.

Very light sprocket and nice design. Hooks onto the chain very good. Too thin though and thus it bends way too easy. I've already bent one and ended up having to get another one because of the warranty.

Fly Spacer Sprocket
Super nice, light and strong sprocket but the integrated spacer sucks. I cut off mine though and now it's legit.

Macneil Guard
This sprocket is tank. I've landed on this so many times and beat the hell out of it and it's still holding up perfect. It's decently light for how thick it is. I would recommend this to any riders who rock 4 pegs or can't afford to switch their hub to the other side! 10/10

I’ve been riding the 28 tooth and as far as sprockets go, it's one of the best I have ever used. Really smooth and doesn't dent very easily. Overall 8.5/10.

Very strong and light chain. Bought it and sold it because I didn't like it too much and I wanted a full link chain. Very durable and went with it for over 5 months without it coming loose or needing to take it off until I painted it.

I brought this for about £10 because I wanted a really thick chain. However, when I put it on it kept skipping and clicking. I'm not sure whether this is because of my 25-9 gearing or my Odyssey MDS but it was annoying and unridable. So if you have a higher gearing this chain will most likely work for you. This chain looked mint when it was on and is really thick. It is a bit heavy but what do you expect from a heavy duty chain!

Shadow Attack
Light, affordable, doesn't let your bars slip and looks good. I haven't had to tighten it up at all in the 2 years I've had it (apart from when I bought new bars and had to put them on) and I've never had my bars slip.

I had the Animal Jump Off, which was a great stem but a little heavy and then I moved to this stem which was lighter and prettier because of the chrome factor. When I first put this on I was amazed at the stems holding power with barely even tightening the bolts. I've never slipped bars ever and it's super durable. The chrome is flaking off but no biggie, parts are sexier when beaten up.

Primo Aneyerlator
I found it slipped a bit at first but I sanded up the inside gripping area a bit, sanded the paint off the clamping area of my bars and no problems since. Great stem post sanding, no more slips, but I am not a heavy guy. The paint is very easy to scuff though. It is a very light stem with really cool machining. If you are a really heavy guy or extremely hard on your parts, this may not be your stem. 7/10 on the Recklessness-O-meter.

Better than the Odyssey Elementary in my opinion but still isn't that good. It's a very tricky process to get your bars to stay and have your headset compressed. At first you will love it but after about 10 minutes you'll be tired of it.

Got it in the cyan blue and it looks great. First hour or 2 of use it slipped and I went to my LBS and greased up the stem bolts. It hasn't slipped since and looks very nice. Great stem.

Mankind Kingdom
Little bit on the heavier side of stems these days but definitely worth the little extra weight. It's a front load stem, which I like personally, and has clamping power beyond what I've seen. When I take my bars off I have to pry the faceplate of the stem off because it's clamped so well. Has yet to slip on me. I will be running it for a long time.

I was kind of skeptical when the instructions for this stem said to ONLY use the supplied 6mm allen key. It's rather small and doesn't give you much leverage on the stem bolts but I went according to the manual and used it. My bars haven't slipped yet after landing nose heavy a few times off a wallride and doing high speed 180's. I got the drop version of this stem. I wanted the regular one but they only had the drop. I am happy to say I prefer the drop now. It lowers your bars just that little bit more and helps you hop slightly higher. It also puts you a touch more forward on the bike and I find anyways, that it helps with footjams and nose manuals. I give this stem a 10/10 because it's light, doesn't slip, and looks straight up amazing.

Sinz Pro Ceramic Sealed Bearing Headset
Well, it's a headset. It spins like any regular old sealed headset and weighs the same as a normal headset. It comes loose more than any other headset I have owned for some reason. I don't recommend buying this headset as you can save yourself some money buying a normal sealed headset and buy another upgrade for your bike. 7/10

Fly (Low)
I bought this headset the other day after blowing out my old headset. It comes with two bearings, a race and a top bearing cover. Confused (because my old headset had millions of parts) I through it together and I was stoked. It`s super light, has a super low stack height and is a lot lighter than my old headset. Spins so fast and dead silent! Definitely 10/10.

TIRES:

Fit FAF Wire Beads
Great all around tire. I'm sporting 2.1" in the front and 1.95" in the back and it seems to be a pretty good combo. These tires are very light for a wire bead, roll super fast, grip great on park and street and decent on dirt. The only concern I have is they wear out a little on the quick side compared to what I'm used to. My first pair lasted me about 11 months which includes a winter of very little riding. I wore out the front one faster than the rear even though I ride brakes which surprised me. At $30 a piece in Canada it's not a big deal to replace them though.

I've had this tire on the front in 2.25" for quite a while now and it still has all it's tread. It also rolls very fast and is decently cheap. However, it has slipped out on me, multiple times at concrete parks. 7/10.

Fit FAF Kevlars
I have the 1.95" in the back. Very nice and grippy but wears out very fast. Also, from a couple of wallrides on a rough wall it started tearing. Very strong sidewall though.

These are the only tires I will ever run again. Very light, super fast and so glass resistant. I have run over glass about a hundred times with them and haven't gotten any flats. I can see the marks on the tread of small slices and punctures but none have gone through the side wall. I have done about a billion footjams and the front tire looks brand new but running brakeless, my rear is showing some slight wear after only riding them since late May. 9.5/10

I bought this to lighten my bikes rear end up and after dropping the £30 on it, I was surprised at the amount of tread, or lack of it. The street version has about 1-2mm of tread when new and after a month of light riding with very little skidding, they wore down to the canvas and I needed a new one. 6/10

KHE Dirt
I have since purchased the KHE dirt after having the KHE Street. It has lots of tread, yet it is marginally lighter in a 2.1" size than my street which was a 1.9". I recommend the dirt as it is just as fast rolling as the street, just with a more aggressive tread style and more tread for the same price. 10/10

Demolition Monaco Kevlar
Very cheap kevlar/foldable tire. Looks great on a chrome rim and is extremely fast. However, they aren't the longest lasting tires but for a £20 kevlar tire, you can't complain! Grips very well on tarmac and wood when dry but it's a deathwish when wet, offering nearly no grip at all. 7/10

Works good for quite a while and is easy to set up. Funky rough paint scratches easy and if it has grease on it, will attract LOADS of gunk and its hard to clean. Brass bushings wear down after a while, letting it move around on the mounts. Pads that come with it are okay. I really like the hanger that comes with it. B-

Fly Brake
Strong and sturdy brake without much flex and is easy to setup. A little bit on the higher cost of things but I think it's worth it. Like most of Fly's parts, it is CNC'd and anodized for a great look. I definitely recommend these brakes. The hanger is simple and effective, as well as the koolstop pads they come with.

Demolition Vulcan
Decent brakes. Felt really smooth because of the bearings. One thing I noticed was the flex in the arms of the brake but it might of been me. The brake pads that they come with are garbage but as for the hanger and arms, pretty good set-up and reasonably priced. If you can't afford Fly brakes, get these with some good pads and you will be happy!

Odyssey Evo 2
I Bought this because it was in limited edition ocean blue and it was on sale. I am extremely happy with this brake. It comes with all the hardware to use it as a front brake, soft and hard springs, and a hanger which is the same colour as the brake callipers. It took some trial and error to get it working but after 90 minutes and a lot of cursing at the brake, I came out with a dialled setup using an odyssey medium monolever and an odyssey linear cable. 10/10

Diatech Hombre
Great brake if set up right. The arms are pretty stiff but if you have the original pads your brake is not going to have much power. I bought red Kool Stop pads and now the brake works better than an Odyssey Evo 2. I know this from experience. I highly recommend this brake using Kool Stop pads and a Diatech Tech-77 lever. 9/10

BRAKE LEVERS:

Odyssey Monolever Trigger
Great lever if you have brakes that will stop on a dime. I ran this lever and had to use two fingers for the most part (other than brake checks in the air). I would recommend buying this lever, but only if you have good enough brakes or a strong enough finger that your bike will still stop. Only thing that really bugged me was changing cables because the end cap of the cable would get stuck in the adjuster so much that you couldn't even get it out with pliers.

Odyssey Monolever Small
This lever is nice. I have always loved how it looks. When I got my first one I was 12 so my hands were pretty small which made it perfect. However, now when I try to use one while my hands are sweaty, my middle finger always slips off of the end. Overall it looks great and performs well too. But once again, the end of the cable would always get stuck in the adjuster.

Odyssey Monolever Medium
Best in function of all the Odyssey levers in my opinion. It may be less aesthetically pleasing than other levers but I'd say it is pretty much the best. It brakes well, has a good size, and your fingers won't slip off. Same problem with the cable though.

Odyssey did it again, making an AWESOME product. When you first get it, throw some 3in1 on the bushings and the cable end in the lever, and it will work flawlessly. I haven't had to switch to the INCLUDED extra BRASS bushings yet, even after a year. It comes with a hinge style mount, so no need to remove your grip to put it on or take it off. I will buy another one of these if I get another bike. Also, its very easy to morph the trigger into different styles. Seen many variations of the medium size on this site. A++

I've got this hub in ano red in 11 tooth and LHD. I love it. It runs great with no problems yet and is quite loud, even with all the grease left in it. However, if you feel the desire to make it louder, removing the grease makes it VERY loud. Great hub. 10/10

Fly Front Hub
Absolute crap in my opinion. It's light and looks nice but it sucks. The flanges are very wide and putting on a hubguard is a problem. This hub doesn't have any cone nuts, just some caps, so you can't tighten it. I also broke the axle on mine. I don't recommend buying it.

Biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. Skipped from day one, bearings constantly blew out and I went through drivers like a mofo. I didn't run pegs either. The reverse threading axle is a pain to find bolts for and the hub guard acts as a cone nut and the if you put the replacement cone nut on in place of the hubguard, the hub rolls like hell. Don't buy it. I had this hub for 7 months and I constantly had problems with it.

Eclat Teck Cassette
Being one of the few on Pinkbike that run this hub (I think) it is an awesome hub. Near bombproof, under a pound, rolls super smooth, femaled and has held up to my hack grinding really well. Available in a few colors and LHD or RHD. Only problem, when your finding frames, is that it needs 14mm dropouts but has 3/8 axles. Despite that, overall 9/10.

Eclat Teck Front Hub
I think I may be the only one on Pinkbike running dual Eclat hubs and maybe the only one with the front Eclat (if there are others I apologize). Super clean and rolling hub. Also femaled which is nice so I don't worry about the axle sticking out. Very easy to lace it to any rim. With it's flangeless design there is no trouble in banging it up on grinds. By far one of the best front hubs and hub combo I've ran. 10/10

Macneil Blazer
This review is for all the macneil haters, when I first got my wheel from the shop I noticed this hub was about half the size of my g-sport marmoset, its super small and super clean. It is also one of the lightest front hubs on the market weighing 0.35 pounds and is cheap at 83$ (for canadians). My favorite feature of the hub is the allen key bolts which means I no longer have to carry wrenches to the skatepark and most of my parts can be tightened with an allen key. However that brings up the only downside to this hub, if you are tightening the bolt with pegs on it is difficult to crank it tight and for that it gets a 9/10.

Wow, this seat is gorgeous. I've got the kevlar covered one and it's a reasonable weight and is pretty comfortable. Not soft, but comfortable. A few of the kevlar threads frayed at first around the spot where the bolt in the top is and one of the spots on the bottom where the fabric is stapled to the seat base came apart. I'm not sure if other people have had this problem with this seat but for how good it looks the two minor inconveniences are alright by me. It's a little bit on the expensive side at 50$ Canadian but it's a good quality seat so that's alright. 8/10

Alexrims Supra E Lite (48h)
Great rim. I am not too sure on the weight but I am a very hack rider sometimes. I had it for a month of being hack. I even rode it when my tire was running out of air and I hopped up a curb and slammed the wheel on it. The rim, by the time I got rid of it, was still completely true. Not even a tiny flat spot was seen. Once again, I am not sure some of you guys would be comfortable with the weight of these. 9/10

Alienation Skylark
A lot of people don't really like Alienation's products. I was recommended this rim by a friend. I have landed nose heavy quite a few times, even rode into a wall, and this rim hasn't nudged. Now seeing as they are pretty light I would of thought it wouldn't last me 2 weeks. But in my opinion this is a very good rim. Strong, cheap and light.

I got this used from a friend laced to a proper hub. This wheel has out done 4 frames. Basically the previous owner struggles with flairs and he bent like 4 frames. That really says enough. The frames were a Simple Enigma, Premium Deathtrap, Fly Tierra, Fly Luna and now he is running an Illegal.

It's basically a Hazard Lite copy. I've had this rim laced up as my rear wheel for just over 8 months now and it has stayed strong and true for all of that time. It's a good light rim for a great price. However, I would personally suggest for front use only if you are an absolute hack of a rider.

It’s a cheap and affordable rim but isn’t really strong. However, it did hold up pretty good for a single wall rim. I wouldn't suggest running it on the back, only up front.

I'm running the black ones right now and have been for about a month and a half. They've held up great for park and street with some fairly large hop to flat landings (5-6 ft). They are about the same weight as odyssey hazard lites and about 160 bucks less (Canadian). I recommend them for anyone look

Best tire i've ever owned, its almost as light as a KHE tire but ten times more durable. i love them, they grip to anything i want them to. they come in 1.95 and 2.1 with wire or kevlar bead options.

Hub Guards:

FBM Hubguard-
looks good, works good, weighs close to nothing. protect your hub and spokes with this awesome invention!

Grips:

Macneil Zoomer-
great comfy long lasting grip, what else could you ask for? come in a few colours, too.

Mutiny HJ-
comfy at first, but don't last more than a couple weeks. don't buy them

i could review every part on my bike, but i don't feel like it

odyssey lumberjacks are awesome too!

i agree. comfy as hell, i found the squares (keys) moved around too much though making it feel like your hands are falling off the grip

Odyssey Hazard Lite I run one in the back,48h for almost a year and it's very little out of true.And it has taken some very hard landings.Bombproof in 48h.Looks good too,and isn't expensive.

Fit Faf-k Tires I have one in the back,1.95.Very nice and grippy,but wears out very fast.Also from a couple of wallrides on a rough wall,it started tearing.Very strong sidewall tho.

Shadow Rant V2 Cassette Hub Looks awesome,it's light,and loud as f*ck!I've been running mine for almost a year,no problems at all(except you have to tighten it every 3 months or so,like every normal hub).

Fly Front Hub Absolute crap.It's light,looks nice,and sucks.The flanges are very wide and putting on a hubguard is a problem.And it doesn't have any conenuts,just some caps,so you can't tighten it.I also broke the axle on mine.Don't buy it.

Demolition Bulimia Front Hub Awesome hub.Looks nice and it's light.Very strong too.Many people ride it,if you have the chance,get it.

Fly Cranks Awesome,light,strong and look good.Easy to get on/off once you get used to it.

Fly Spacer Sprocket Super nice,light and strong sprocket.But the integrated spacer sucks.I cut off mine tho,it's legit now.

Kink Slim Pivotal Seat The best seat,looks uber sexy and is veeery comfortable.And,is Kink too! ;D
