whats the difference between dot 5.1 and dot 4... pro's and con's for both please

DOT 4 will not work with the 5's...

On CRC it says it won't, only 5.1....

im not sure mate. itd probably be better to just flush all of the fluid out and replace it with new fluid

Dot 3,4 and 5.1 are compatible, Dot 5 is not. If you are worried, then simply flush the entire system out with whichever fluid you choose.
