i would say BB7 for a mech and a elixir cr for hydro

anything but hayes 9! go with a avid elixirs are sweet but maybe more than you are looking for

Avids are sweet. I'm still running a Single Digit TI and it's as strong as it can get (and light, if you're into that stuff). If you're used to properly setting up v-brakes, don't put them out of your choices too fast. They're still 26-inch discs.

juicy five is ur best bet probs cuz hayes suck in my experience and magura is too expensive or u could save 100 and get a bb7 which is great
