How to get into racing?

Ok so I am a recreational rider wondering how to get into racing... Any Tips?

go to a race, dont bring any sort of expectations with you, race novice class and make sure you are constntly having a good time, so involving a friend or two wouldnt be a bad idea. hurry up season is almost over!

It is a little late in the season right now as most of the series are starting to end. But theres always next season.

If you are just starting I would recommend the Phat Wednesday Series up in whistler because it is cheap and alot of fun !

If your looking for a bit more competition and a more serious series then look at the BC Cup series the website is below and you can easily contact cycling bc about the series and they will get you all set up.
