^the ones I wish I had lol
The others=not so important to me.

true true. The D5000 is a great camera. Frankly, anything from Nikon is pretty decent. I just got a battery grip for my D90 actually, and i love it. Oh, and a new telephoto

I think I will be getting a D90 once I get some money and sell off this D60. I want a battery grip, and I want the built in motor in the camera. The other dials would also help me out a ton too. Going through the menu is slow, especially when you are shooting concerts and need to change settings super quick. Plus, I'm sure the D90 has better ISO performance then my D60 and that would help me out a ton as concerts, ISO 800 is super helpful and good but my D60 looks like shit that high. Ha
Same lol.

editing-wise too.

This photo turned out very well. What shutter spped were you using? Panning is tricky to learn in the first place, but soo worth it. Looks good man.

ya, ive shot a few concerts with my D90, and frankly, the pics look awesome (not to toot my own horn haha). I think some of my favorite pictures ive shot were the pictures i took this october with my new 400mm lens at the airshow. Got a few 16x20 prints made i liked them so much. The colors that come off that cmos sensor are just... perfection

d60 has dust reduction on sensor, d40 no

d40 has 1/500th sec. d60 1/200th sec. (d40 faster9

d60 10mpx d40 6mpx (more is better when croping)

d60 should come with VR lens (vibration reduction lens), d40 same lens but no VR

the rest is same more or less

how much of a difference will this make?

probably insignificant for us non pro shooters

i would go for d60, VR can come pretty handy, and 10mpx support a lot of cropping Camera
