Wouldnt recommend single-ply tyres for anything too hardcore...

That spec list looks pretty good, but why not just leave the nevegals on

Basically Heavy meaning , changing alot of stuff , and making major holes in my pocket , The Kendas are worn down quiet alot so im looking for some gripping , hard rubber tyres. Suggestions for tyres , what other stuff could i get and what i shouldn't get.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Maxxis Minion tires. I also like Michelin tires. Probably going to go with the Minions next just to see what else is out there.

Oh fair enough then, yeah i'd recommend maxxis minions or ardents, but yer maybe go for at least dual compound, also what chain guide will you be running?

for the uk maxxis high roller offer the best all round grip in maxxpro 60 compound.

Chain Guides are a b*tch to fix on the Reign's. I have an 08 Reign X0 and the chain guide have been giving me head aches.

I would agree that single ply are relativly light but depends on what type of riding you going to be doing on your Reign. I ride my everwhere including DH/Freeride/Lift Acess ( the shore, Whistler..etc) so Im running Intense Tyres DH comps 2.45. A friend of mine is running Minion DH tubeless and he really loves it, they rool fast and pretty grippy as well.

Also I would go with Avid's over Hayse. All my friends that ride Hayse Strokers wish they had Juicy 7's or Avid Elixers.

PS. Reigns are amazing bikes I really love mine. Check on some pics of it on my profile if you want. I recently dumped a bunch of $$$ into it as well.

Cheers.

If you riding stuff like the north shore I would not run sigle ply tires. I got a 3 pich flats in 2 days or riding on my sigle ply Kenda Nevagal's and that was enough for me. I would rather run a heavier tire then walk my bike downhill.
