How much would you pay for an uplift service on good tracks?

My bad i get it now sorry bit slow on the uptake. If it was say a 3.30 min track that was say a 45 min push to top. With some nuts doubles and drops.

They charge £32 for the uplift at my local track Innerleithen. I think it's a total rip off when for example you can go to a world cup course like Fort William and pay less for a cable car to the top. However it seems ever popular but as I am a tight fisted miserable sod I choose to push up even on uplift days. This keeps me fit and is a stand against (in my opinion) over priced uplifts.

You also end up doing less riding. Do you think 20 would be reasonable for a 3.30 to 4 min track doing say 12 uplifts a day.

id be more than willing to pay £20. as long as the track is good obviously. its not like im going to ride it tho unfortunatly. I live miles away!

Doing less riding depends on the individuals resolve. I have for example done 8 runs at Innerleithen on an uplift day without using the uplift but the quality of the runs will be affected by tired legs. If Innerleithen uplifts were £20 I would gladly pay that as it's a fair price for an old cattle truck and a battered bike.

So would you say cwm down is a little expensive to or are you happy to pay a little extra if it means there will be no scrathing of your paint. Another thing is how far would you actually travel to an uplift day.
