new QR hub. nothing you can do to change the bolt on other than a new QR hub (that i know of)

well you are deffinently wrong kev, it depends on the hub, many hubs have conversion kits made by the company like hope or azonic. what kind of hub is it?

oh its cool. i was just looking at the azonic one... do you have to have a special azonic hub? or is that an option for all their hubs? Also, most of the stuff i found out there was to convert from QR to Bolt on... not the other way around but who knows?

it goes either way. i had the azonic outlaw wheel set before and it goes from 12mm and just take that axle out and put a different spacer thing inside basically a hub shim than put your qr through, even if this guy buys a cheap hub most come with qr and are unsealed bearings.

sorry to be point out the obvious but thats for a front wheel he asked for a rear wheel.

i would buy the dt-swiss qr bolt thru lever, called the rws.

thats asuming your hub is 10mm bolt thru.

let me know what hub you have and i can help more sort off.

but in general you would just remove the bolt and replace it with the pictured qr bolt.

if this is the hub then im not totally sure,it could be just as simple as unscrewing the bolts and seeing whats in there or measuring the inner diamater of the axle.

hey does it make a difference that he said he has a BOLT ON? Cuz last i checked a bolt on was different than a thru axle (none of that was sarcasm, just as a disclaimer). I assumed he was talking more about something like a BMX axle... with threads and what not

no sarcasam taken he mentioned bolt through in the title hence my refference to bolt through.

if it is a bolt on axle then all i can say then is get in touch with the respective manufacture of the hub in question.
