I'm not sure that this is the correct forum but I want to buy shorts for FR&DH.
I saw the Animal Bail Impact Short.
what do you think about them?
someone here use them?
are they comfort?
are they big for their size or small?

If someone can recommand other shorts until 50$ I'll like to hear.

thanks.

Yes, it is.
I'm thinking to buy those and over it regular shorts/cheep MTB shorts.

Don't put a price limit on safety. You should look at all options from CE level certified to non certified. I know of hockey shorts that have better protection than even the most expensive Dainese modular impact shorts.

I've had my hands on crashpads, dainese, and rockgardn shorts. Didn't even bother with the forcefield ones since their pelvis/hip pads are pathetic looking in the photo. And out of all of these (except for hockey shorts) I'd have to give the Dainese the advantage. They have hard shell armor on the femur and tailbone, but the hip padding is still not sufficient. I'd have to supplement them with Aerostich TF3 hard shell hip pads.
