Go for it. It is an older frame but as long as it has no cracks in it the frame should be alright for $150, steal of a deal if it's in good shape. I had one and really liked it.

Still, a damn nice frame for 150

The '04s really arent that heavy. My Six complete weighed in at close to 45lbs which is heavy but I was surprised when I stripped my rig, it was mostly the parts I had on it that were beastly which came as a shock to me because they were pretty high end parts...they were just old I suppose...weight loss wasent as big of an issue then as it is now.

im pretty sure that the 05s were the heaviet because it had the 150by12 hub and was extremely overbuilt. MIne easily weighed 42lbs with some pretty good parts. THere a great frame i loved mine except i got it to big.
