I just got this Hightower. One day of shuttles on plus wheels and the front wheel stopped holding air, dented rear rim.
Upgrades:
29 LB wheels, hope hub
XTR cassette
Formula rotors
Fox 36
Santa Cruz 35mm carbon bar
Easton 35mm stem
Sixc cranks
Shovel chainguide

Still needs a Topaz and better brakes and seatpost.

Better than the Reverb? The only reason why I'm considering switching to the LEV CI is because I already want a 170+mm post and the CI is 100g lighter than the Reverb. Otherwise I would just swap to a 170mm Reverb. Love that post.

Also for the record, my Maxxis Rekon tires have the best tubeless seal I've ever used. Have them installed on a set of RF AeffectPlus wheels and they lose maybe 5psi a month. Must be the old rims that don't hold very well.

I had no problem with the rear Rekon, other than lightweight sidewall. Front WTB Bridger stays flat; I suspect the rim tape failed.

I like the Reverb, but it sticks, and has rotational play and up and down play.

Pretty normal for some Reverbs. Mine has been ace though.

Sorry you feel that way. I've had great luck with the Reverb.
