TimeOut is once again open.
The small jump midpoint is closed till we redo the lower section ,taken out by the development.
TOut lower section, is private property ,but having said that the developer has NO problem with the bikers.
There is one resident who is not happy and has made a lot of noise but he has no authority and if you run into him, just ignore.

Please though for all the shuttler's ,
DON'T speed past the residents,no need to make them unhappy,it's real easy to just slow down.
Lets do our best to try and make them happy.

KnobGobbler was in great shape this week as was all the XC trails E. side .
TimeKiller was really dry and rocky midpoint but with the rain this week ,it should really help.

New maps of Sumas / Bear/Red , Woodlot, / Vedder at bike shops.
Buy one and support your local mtnbike organization.

As a separate warning, and unrelated to the developer:
Do NOT park at the timeout exit - there have been reports of vandalism.

I know Timeout is open now, so is it alright to park at this exit again? Or is there a better place to park for those of us who do not shuttle? thx

That is the best place to park, at the gate for the development.

However please don't block the entrance.

Why not park at the main gate?

I'm unable to read those words. Its a psychology thing...he he.

Then yes indeed Tom is right, no shuttling means park at the main gate. GASP! I've even parked there.

Time Out" has been a contested trail recently as it crosses private land. The landowner has been very co-operative with mountain bikers but has been verbally attacked on his own property by belligerent mountain bikers on several occasions and enough is enough. To compound this issue many trail users are treating the neighborhood as a party spot and leaving litter, doing burnouts and blaring music into the wee hours of the evening.

We are still allowed to cross the new subdivision but long term the trail will no longer be a viable exit to the mountain. The remainder of the trails will be unaffected.

"Time Out" will be rerouted beginning this fall with the support of the City of Abbotsford, Ministry of Tourism Culture and Arts (Trails BC) and the FVMBA.

In the meantime please respect the neighborhood and SLOW DOWN. Treat it as if your Mom lived there or your Grandma. The FVMBA has worked tirelessly for years to concrete Sumas as a legitimate and great place to ride your bike! Douchebaggery will only jeopardize the trails.

Please SLOW DOWN.
Pick up your litter.
Keep the tunes at a minimum.

Thanks!

FVMBA
