agreed,,the only part of the frame that isn't full cromo is the rear..It'll live through most of the learning stage

Yeah but I cant go that high, I'm still a student. So i'm pretty broke Frown .Im trying to sell loads of stuff, but I still wont have alot. I will probably get the AM funday. Then I can always upgrade it after a bit of time.

Frame and fork are the most important part on a bike.Regarding strength.

If the Ex is out of your budget try and get yourself a Kink Liberty really good bang for your buck type of complete full chromo frame and double wall rims http://www.kinkbmx.com/bikes/liberty.html

DK and haro make some of the cheapest completes with full cromo frames. Worth a look at least.

Have you got your bike yet? Considered Stolen?

I had $500Au to spend from having sold my downhill bike and ended up buying a Stolen Sinner V3. Your budget seems pretty similar if not a bit higher than mine, if you're in the UK check out Chain Reaction Cycles, the price's there seemed pretty good for the bike I got but it was cheaper here in Oz from TBSM.
