hi there i have a old bomber fork dual crown (2001) its black and yellow. near the bottom of the fork there are two holes that are about 2-3 cm apart. i was wondering if these are for some type of disc brake mount, they are no where near the post mount that are on my 888 forks. any ideas ? i think the fork is maybe a jr t or mr t ? it has a 20mm solid axle. thanks for your help
yep those are them. any idea what the two holes on the bottom of the fork are for that are like 2 or 3 cm appart? im guessing a older type of caliper that mounts directly to the fork. any ideas of a bracket that i could use to mount some modern brakes to it. thanks for your time
I would find some crusty old-school downhiller that works in your LBS and he MIGHT be able to find the brake adapter that you are looking for. Getting it made would cost more than those forks are worth. You might be able to find some really cheap pair second hand that are all smashed up and get the adapter from those.
This post had sat around for days with no answer and no-else stepped in. So I answered it. My answer of 'they are for brakes and go to your LBS to get an adapter' is valid.
I don't guarantee anything I say unless I have the stuff in my hand. I haven't seen those forks for years and, if you know so much about such things, you'll also know that there was three or four mount standards and I can't remember which mount those forks were.

ok so i finally got time to take a look at them forks. the two holes on the bottom of the fork measure 1 inch from center to center. hope that helps. i spoke to marzocchi and they were not alot of help. thanks...
"Note: Some 2000 and earlier Marzocchi forks use disc tabs that are not International Standard. Avid does not offer brackets for any of these forks."
Are you sure they are 2001? There should be a round stamp on the bottom and at the back of the lowers - it will show the year and month of manufacture.
I could be wrong though, since I lack the knowledge to educate others on my hobby.:P
