Hey the preload ring on my fox vanilla rc shock on my big hit is stuck. Can't get the spring to turn and there's a horrible creak when you try to move it. It's back from tf tuned about a month ago and the spring was then put on and that was it. After a weekend at the bing and the bike sitting for 2 weeks waiting on a new back wheel it's stuck :s. I rally need to change my preload and i can't dunno what to do any ideas? already tried plus gas although there's no rust and different lubes. Help!?

Penetrating oil overnight,if that doesn't work get some adjustable pliers and force it off, when you get it of put some oil on the threads to stop it cold welding itself/seizing again.

It will but if you have some bits of rubber or old tube lying around you could cut some strips of that.

Water pump pliers should sort it out.
