So very quick question.

We got these outdoor speakers, and i need a amp. So it says theres a 120w max on the speakers. Would that be EACH speaker? Or both (so 60w each)?

So heres the speakers:

And heres the amp i want. Its small, and straight forward. Would 75w per speaker work well?
http://www.pyleaudio.com/itemdetail.asp?brand=&cat1=Home%20Audio%20and%20Video&cat2=Home%20Amplifiers&model=PCA3

That amp also comes in 40w.

I just dont want to blow the speakers.
I got my heart pretty set on that amp because of how cheap, small and simple it is.

Thanks

I dont think that amp will work. You need an amp that matched for a 6 Ohm speaker which is what you have. Also, your speakers are rated for 35 watts and 120 watts peak. You will need an amp rated for 35W and 120W peak to get the best quality. I think that amp is designed for RCA and 3.5mm connection only. How much are you looking to spend exactly?

ok well, i plan on just using it hooked up to a pc/ipod. so i think a rca will be sufficient.
It just needs to be an alternative for my old home theatre receiver that blew up aha.
Im looking to spend around 150ish, as i only use these speakers like once a week maybe. Ive been dumping money into other parts of my home audio.
I just saw that one, and liked how simple it is.. i basically just want the speakers to go into a amp and then out to a auxiliary source (laptop, ipod)
