without new parts.

front brake,
front derailleur
single speed front
loose rear derailleur but use it as a tensioner
cut bars and seatpost

that should loose u a couple of pounds

Go with smaller less brutal tires. Fine some lighter, more XC/all mountain bars and stem. Find a more All mountain crankset, something truvative. Take your fork, sell it and by a comp. fork or rigid fork thats moe all-mountain/trail bread. And sell your rims and buy some singletracks. And if you really wana shave the pounds, get rid of your seat, Shave your legs and wear spandex

it's gunna cost you alot to make it lighter. You should just sell it and buy a new bike.

but:

no front brake
cut bars, seatpost, head tube
pivotal seat/post combo (macneil..)
lighter tires (kenda k-rads..)
single speed

then if you really wanna loose weight, new stem/handlebar, rims, fork, cranks.
