Two special days for two wheeler dealers.
Between April 22 and 24th MTB Association Rowerowe Podhale ran a warm-up for the upcoming biking season with a 2-day mtb workshop included: basic and intermediate level cycling technical course, presentations and talks on cycle tourism, bike mechanics, sport physiotherapy and cycling advocacy. Plus, we did not forget about one of the best warm-ups: great food over a huge bonfire just next to MTB Hostel in Kościeliska Valley.
April weather wasn’t very kind to us but it was a push to move forward. Mountain spring – green and chill over one night turned into an alpine winter - white and wet. The bonfire and sauna were all we needed by the end of the day.
The cycling technical course on Sunday was a challenge due to unexpected snowfall so great job guys! I guess you got motivated by Saturday talks on bike fitting, advance bike suspension and core muscles enhancing the bike stance and balance. POMBA guys gave a little insight into their association's achievements such us single-track network construction and their future projects. Jan Karpiel, a MTB legend and bikes’ constructor himself, shared a great story of setting the world speed record on snow. His Yes, I can attitude was a huge motivation for all of us. We had enduro trips organised every day. Participants led by local guides biked on the most picturesque forest paths through Tatra mountains.
Who made it all happen? Our sponsors providing the best equipment to test during day long trips. MTB Hostel crew setting the best hospitability standards. Rowerowe Podhale Association members giving it all. Thank you for your hard work and commitment and see you next year!
