Maaxx Events is proud to announce that
SkiBromont will host the Downhill Quebec Championships, during the weekend of September 21st-22nd.
SkiBromont has been the most popular mountain offering lift-accessed DH trails in the Quebec south area since its opening. This venue hosted many prestigious events such as the World Championships in 1992 and multiple World Cups (1993-1996-1999-2008-2009). For many years, it has been the venue for Canada and Quebec Cups but recently, the mountain didn't show any interest for DH Racing anymore. This year marks their comeback after a 2-year break.
In addition to the QC-Championships, Maaxx Events is organizing its third and final round of its
B-Maaxx Serie, a local series that take place entirely at Bromont on intermediate tracks.
Both race tracks have yet to be confirmed. One thing is sure, the B-Maaxx track will be part of the QC-Champ track.
The B-Maaxx is a series that is presented by
Sport Aux Puces,
Dakine,
Edgar Hyperlodge,
St-Hubert Bromont,
Gym Concept Action.

That's Bullshit, I'm a regular at Bromont and I have spoken to the administration and they said that this year they surpassed their objectives by over 30%. It's quite the opposite, Bromont is getting better and stronger. MSA is having serious problems though.
Btw, Brakeless on the 21, yeah that would be really kool but one of these years I'd love to do the BMAXX on the 7. I was told they were considering doing a race on the 7 but the High-Speed section would be too dangerous for intermidiate riders.
