Race Face Components Inc., one of North America’s leading producers of high performance mountain bike components and clothing, is
proud to announce that Matt Hunter has won the second annual Ultimate Freeride Challenge. This contest, now in it’s second year, calls for riders to submit one-minute freeriding videos for Race Face’s online community to
view and vote for which riders they wanted to see advance to future rounds. Over a six week period, our sixteen competitors were
narrowed down to two finalists – Matt Hunter and Cameron McCaul. Both riders were brought down to the Sea Otter Classic and on
April 12th at 9:30pm, Race Face announced the winner in front of hundreds attending the star studded Kranked V premiere.

“It’s really quite amazing” says Race Face’s Marshall Rutman, “We were announcing the winner of the second annual UFC at the
premiere for a film which stars the winner of our first contest. Tyler did an amazing job this year. By winning the UFC, he had
some serious media attention focussed on him. He took full advantage of this window of opportunity, working hard to prove himself
as one of the best freeriders in the sport. Matt knows he’s got some big shoes to fill and we’re going to help him as best we can”.

Matt Hunter is 19 years old and further proof there’s something special in the water in Kamloops, British Columbia. This small
Canadian town has spawned Brett Tippie, Richie Schley, Wade Simmons and Dustin Adams. It’s also rumoured that Roland Green has
spent some quality time in the “loops”.

“I’m really excited to have Matt on the team” continues Rutman “He’s a solid rider but even more importantly he’s got a strong
character. The maturity he’s shown throughout the contest, how he’s handled the tremendous pressure and attention he’s received –
it speaks great volumes for what kind of person he is. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him.”

The attention Matt’s received from the UFC is already paying off. He’s been approached by several bike manufacturers and a verbal
shout out to Specialized upon winning the contest indicates he’ll be receiving some support from this industry giant. Matt’s also
been approached by Adidas eyewear – who already sponsor Race Face riders Tyler Klassen and Darren Berrecloth.

The Race Face web site will be updated tonight, showing a wrap up video of the contest, complete with footage from the winner
announcement at the Kranked V premiere. Thanks to Freeride Entertainment for producing the video and Cory LeClerc for providing the
announcement footy.

Lastly, huge props to all those in the Race Face fan club who went online and voted in the second annual UFC. You obviously did an
amazing job in selecting Tyler Klassen as last year’s winner. We’re all confident you’ve done the same by choosing Matt as your
favourite rider.

Until next time,

THE RACE FACE HOME TEAM
